We are looking for a proactive Legal Officer to join the Legal department at Sensorfact (part of ABB).
You will work directly with the Senior Legal Counsel and assist in a variety of commercial and
compliance-related tasks. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to B2B contract
negotiation, compliance operations, and in-house legal practice in a high pace scale-up environment,
while having the ability to gain knowledge from a well established corporate legal team.

This role is well-suited for a qualified lawyer who is keen to build a strong foundation in commercial legal practice.

What you will do:

Legal Document Review: Assist in the examination and analysis of legal agreements, including but not limited to leases, sales contracts, service agreements, non-disclosure agreements (NDAs), and supply contracts, maintaining alignment with company policies and legal standards.
Contract Negotiation: Collaborate with the Legal Counsel in negotiating commercial agreements by identifying key contractual risks and formulating strategic fallback positions to safeguard the company's interests.
Compliance: Assist in the development and implementation of compliance projects to ensure adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies.
Go-to-advisor: Work closely with various departments, including Sales, Finance, and Operations, to address legal concerns, provide guidance, and support day-to-day operations in alignment with legal requirements.
Document Management: Ensure accurate and consistent filing of legal documents within internal systems.

Who are you:

You have a Master’s degree in Law.
You have 1-3 years of work experience in a corporate legal department and/or law firm environment.
You are a qualified lawyer, preferably admitted in an EU jurisdiction.
You are self-motivated and able to progressively work with autonomy.
You have a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset and enjoy working collaboratively
You demonstrate strong communication skills and can work effectively with cross-functional business stakeholders.
You are fluent in English.
